About Nàdarra.

A brand with kindness at its core.

We use the finest Irish linen which is spun from European, ethically sourced, flax plant fibres. The linen is dyed by hand in very small batches using rainwater, plants, wood and fruits before being crafted into dreamy dresses designed to be cared for, cherished and eventually passed down as heirlooms.

My name is Mo and I’m the Designer and Founder of Nàdarra. I have worked in the fashion industry for over 20 yrs and for the most part, I love it! However, I became increasingly aware of its dark side. The glut of clothing out there has, in its abundance, a hidden cost. The business model has become, over time and on the whole, that of increasingly burnt out design teams and unreasonably squeezed garment makers, creating ever more environmentally harmful products.

I thought I’d had my fill and was ready to walk away, but last year, during a trip back home to Scotland I decided I wanted to be part of the solution and use my experience to create a brand that would approach things differently - putting consideration for people and the planet first.

Founded on these principals came Nàdarra (Gaelic for natural). Our mission is to offer a sustainable and equally beautiful fashion choice.

Thank you for joining us on this journey to cleaner and more conscious choices.
